A Sacred Land
The British Isles is covered with reminders of faith and family.
We marvel at the wisdom, manpower and purpose behind the mysterious stone circles of which over 1,000 still stand. Likewise, we wonder at the significance of hundreds of ancient burial mounds, where our early forefathers respectfully honoured their dead.
Every community has its charming parish church or cathedral where our ancestors worshipped for centuries. Those beautifully crafted buildings are surrounded by cemeteries demonstrating a deep rooted reverence for God and family.

A Chosen Land
This tiny island overflows with history and this memorial pays tribute to those who have paved the way for us, and highlights the vital role this nation played in the Restoration of the Church. Over the centuries hundreds of valiant souls gave their lives to provide us with eternal truths and religious freedom.
Their story is our story

Of final dispensation.

We keep forgetting all those who lived before us
We forget those who live and worked in our communities
We forget those who prayed and sung in our churches
We keep forgetting what our fathers have done for us
We commit the sin Lord, of assuming that everything begins with us.
We drink from wells we did not find
We eat from farmland we did not develop
We enjoy freedoms we did not earn
We worship in churches we did not establish
This day make us grateful for our heritage.
